A Movement of the Community
dBokke is a community-driven political and civic movement founded on the principle that ordinary people must have a meaningful voice in the decisions that affect their communities.
Its approach is rooted in direct community engagement β meeting residents where they live, listening to their concerns, organising at ward level and turning those concerns into collective action. The movement builds leadership from within communities rather than imposing leadership upon them.
Unity
Organising beyond political divisions
Participation
Every ward, every person
Accountability
Leadership answerable to the people
Economic Power
From dependency to ownership
Our Mission
Strengthening communities through unity, engagement and leadership. Together, we are building momentum across every ward.

Political Representation
For dBokke, political representation should be a means of advancing community interests. Public office must serve the community β the community must never exist merely to serve political organisations.

Grassroots Leadership
dBokke promotes a bottom-up organisational model. Ward structures, community meetings, volunteers, local activists and emerging community leaders form the foundation of the movement.
Leadership is expected to remain visible, accessible and connected to the everyday experiences of residents. The organisation seeks to develop leaders who do not simply speak for communities, but organise and work with communities.
"Lasting change will not simply arrive from somewhere else. It must be built by the people who live in the community."
dBokke β Community First. People Powered.
Unity Across Communities
Fragmented communities have limited influence. Organised communities speaking collectively become powerful agents of change. dBokke organises people beyond traditional political divisions β around common interests: jobs, functioning municipalities, safer communities, opportunities for young people.
